VardanLoan believes every person who shares data with us deserves a direct explanation of how that information is handled. This Privacy Policy describes the information our mobile application ("App") collects, the purpose behind each collection, the safeguards we apply, and the choices you retain over your data.

By continuing to use the App, you confirm that you have read and accepted this Policy. If any part is not acceptable to you, please uninstall the App. Reading this Policy together with our Terms of Service gives the full view of how your VardanLoan account operates.

Information We Collect

A responsible credit service requires specific information categories. The following items explain what we collect and why.

2.1 Account Registration Data

When you create a VardanLoan account, we collect your full legal name, date of birth, mobile number, email address, and details from your government-issued identity document. Each item is encrypted before leaving your device and stored only at: server.VardanLoan.co

2.2 Device Attributes

Your device sends technical details, including model identifier, operating system version, IP address, and Google Advertising ID. We use these only to maintain platform stability and detect security anomalies, not for credit decisions or advertising targeting.

2.3 Installed App Metadata

To reduce fraudulent applications, the App may read the package names and installation status of other apps on your device. It does not access messages, passwords, transactions, browsing content, or data inside those apps. Fraud prevention is the only purpose.

2.4 Camera Access

Camera permission is needed to photograph identity documents for verification. Images are encrypted at capture and sent to server.VardanLoan.co. After verification is completed, the original images are permanently deleted. The camera is used only when you start an upload.

2.5 Approximate Location

If you grant permission, a coarse location reading confirms that VardanLoan operates in your region. We do not record precise GPS coordinates, and location information is kept separate from credit scoring and advertising systems.

2.6 Anonymised Usage Data

Aggregated, de-identified usage statistics, such as navigation paths, session length, and error events, help us improve engineering and design. No individual user can be reconstructed from this information.

How We Use Your Data

Every processing activity at VardanLoan is tied to a defined purpose. We use information to:

  • Verify identity and complete account registration
  • Operate your revolving credit facility and process related transactions
  • Detect and prevent fraud, impersonation, and security breaches
  • Respond accurately and promptly to customer support requests
  • Improve App performance through anonymised usage patterns
  • Meet obligations under applicable Indian financial regulation

Optional permissions can be withdrawn at any time through device settings. Removing a permission may limit the feature that depends on it, but your core account and credit facility continue to function. We do not access data through permissions you have not granted.

Data Sharing

VardanLoan does not sell, rent, or transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. Data is shared only in limited circumstances:

  • With identity verification specialists who authenticate submitted documents
  • With cloud infrastructure providers that host the systems powering our service
  • With regulators or law enforcement where disclosure is legally required

Each partner is bound by a formal data processing agreement and cannot use your information beyond the service it provides to VardanLoan.

Security Measures

Security is built into VardanLoan's infrastructure. Our active controls include:

  • TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data transmissions
  • Role-based access controls so only authorised personnel can view personal records
  • Scheduled independent penetration tests and security audits
  • Continuous automated anomaly detection with escalation procedures

If you notice suspicious account activity, contact us immediately at support@vardanloan.com. Every security report is treated as urgent.

Retention Periods

We keep personal data only for as long as needed to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or for as long as the law requires, whichever period is longer.

After account closure and after any mandatory retention window expires, data is permanently deleted or rendered permanently unidentifiable through technical anonymisation. The exact retention period depends on the data type and applicable regulation.

Minimum Age

VardanLoan accounts are available only to adults aged 18 and above. Our identity verification process includes checks intended to prevent underage applicants from opening accounts.

If we determine that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it promptly, reverse any pending transactions where applicable, and erase related data. Report such cases to support@vardanloan.com and we will investigate without delay.

Your Data Rights

You have practical control over the personal data VardanLoan holds about you:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold on your behalf
  • Correction: Ask us to update information that is inaccurate or no longer current
  • Deletion: Request erasure of data, subject to legal retention requirements
  • Withdrawal of consent: Revoke consent previously given for processing your information

Amendments

This Policy is reviewed periodically and updated to reflect changes in our services or the regulatory environment. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email before they take effect.

Minor corrections that do not materially affect your rights may take effect immediately. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Continued use of the App after an update indicates acceptance of the revised Policy.
